A friend of mine posted a link to this designer on Facebook, and I just fell in love with her illustrations. I'm very interested in folklore and folk art, and I like how Sanna Annuka has melded folk art with a very contemporary style. In this case, I think it really works. It seems like she's doing well for herself, having collaborated with Vogue and Marimekko.
I am really trying hard not to buy all of her screen printed posters. Thank you, Emily, for finding her!
